20-21 May 2011. Visa 2 Dance returns to Alliance Française with this show entitled Cakes and Consequences by the Tanzanian dancer Aloyce Makonde, who will perform contemporary dance performances.
In 2007 Makonde, who started performing short choreographies in the Russian Culture Center of Dar es Salaam, founded the group Visa 2 Dance. Makonde directs young African and European contemporary dancers.
After Dar es Salaam this piece will be performed in Denmark and Poland.
Visa 2 Dance’s latest project is a competition for Tanzanian dancers, dance companies and choreographers.
